I'm sure Jason and his family have already looked into this, but just in case...there are many charity foundations that help with cancer victims and the great financial burden that comes along with it. Since Jason has no health insurance, his family may wish to contact one of these organizations.
I know of one particular charity foundation located in North Carolina. If you'd be willing to pass on the information, they are called "A Cure in Our Lifetime." I believe the founder is a Ms. Edmondson, who can be reached at (843) 293-0136. I am not exactly sure if they only deal with specific types of cancer, but it couldn't hurt to call and get some information. Plus, they may have some info on other charities like them.
I hope this helps some, and just know that all my prayers will be for his swift and safe recovery.
