Second one.. The first one is great and such, but you look so lazy in it, lol. I mean, you don't look very passionate about your work at all in that photo.. The second one, on the other hand, spoofs the milk ads (so it's funny), and shows you ... you know.. filmin' stuff.. heheh.. It gets the point across in a funny way.

that guy's a dumbass. the top one is way better.

Beth - 2003-12-01 23:59:24
Hey hey James is not a dumbass. At least he gave a reason why the top one is better! Which scott is this? I know two. No NAME CALLING!! Unless it's me. that is allowed.

I agree with Shizzle - the second one shows you 'in action' with the video camera - lending instant credibility. Speaking of credibility, what up with your peeps getting instant street cred by talking like Snoop? Damn, I am still trying to master the 70's street pimp talk... I have a long way to go to get hip...

see, that's the thing! Everyone has a different opinion. A friend from work said the second one is stupid b/c it's fuzzy. but I purposely made it that way..hence' got video, i can help' ...maybe I was being too subtle. And even though it is me in the picture, i was trying to capture the frustration of making videos and well, frustrating it can be. plus it's a 'got' something ad. which IS played out. but yeah. the first one is just my production site picture with some text added. so ehh. i mght just make a new one ..yarhgh

I like the second one.

I thought that the 'blurry' thing just showed your 'artsiness'.. How everything is blurry, but it's clearer around the camera.. Plus, it puts the focus on the words first and the picture second. I'd be interested in seeing you do another though.

Michael - 2003-12-02 13:56:42
Hey cutie-pie...I think I already told you this, but I like the first one =) I just don't like the blur/grain effect in the second one. You can't see your beautiful face. Anyway, talk to you later baby. Love you!

beth - 2003-12-03 02:32:02
well so far it's 3-3 tie. James, bill and laura like the second one. and scott, michael, and my friend josh who emailed me likes the first one. hmmmmmmmmmmm one more to tie it dammit!

Guy who is not James - 2003-12-03 10:38:19
Guh, gee.. Well, I'm totally new, and not secretly James under a different name at all, and um.. I'm gonna go with the second one, for uh, all the reasons that intelligent James fellow had mentioned above.. heh.... heheh... heh...

Gak! That guy who isn't me posted twice! I'm going to assume it was the forum's problem, and that he is innocent.. even though I don't know him at all... and am not him.. I don't know why you would suspect such a thing.. The fact that he aparently shares the same email addy as I do is purely a cowinky dink.. yeah..

Dude, you should totally consider letting me make you a little something for a more awesome look...not like they're not awesome now, it's just, you could use a cartoon hotdog or Mario on a pogostick. Please oh please let me make you something...You just have to tell me certain specifications. You don't have to use it, just simply acknowledge it and possibly post it for humor and a lesser form of rejection if you don't like. But if not, that's cool. thanks anyway. ROCK!

hey cool go for it!

dave - 2003-12-16 17:42:29
They are both pretty good. Decisions, decisions. I vote for the bottom one - I like the mysticism. That said, the top one also has a couple good points going for it - It has a classic Ingrid Bergman "Casablanca" look, in a Sandra Bullock sort of way. ?^) dave
